Yesterday morning, Wednesday 18th March 2020, our Prime Minister announced Australia-wide restrictions on non-essential, indoor gatherings of more than 100 persons. This measure is intended to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Based on communications with the NSW and Federal Governments, ClubsNSW has informed clubs that the 100 person restriction should apply separately to each enclosed area within the club premises.

The 100-person count includes Club staff.

An enclosed area is an area or room that is substantially enclosed by a roof and walls, regardless of whether the roof or walls or any part of them are permanent, temporary, open or closed.

Toukley Golf Club with a gaming machine room, smoking deck, dining room and bar area will impose a 100-person cap on each room separately. Whilst at the same time not exceeding our licencing restrictions for the total number of patrons on the premises.

Toukley Golf Club will undertake active due diligence to ensure that the 100-person limit per room is not exceeded, by monitoring each room or area. This will be done by our staff on duty.

Toukley Golf Club will continue to facilitate normal golfing activities as per our Fixture Book,   Together with Social Golf and Social Bookings.

Friday Night Raffle

Due the restriction on numbers and the supply of Meat Friday night raffles are cancelled until further notice. The Club will continue to trade as per normal with full dining room and bar facilities available.

The Board of Directors understand that the current environment poses significant and unprecedented challenges for this Club but are confident that we can continue to provide our members with their membership needs.
