Oh dear, another wet and miserable day….sorry Wyong, we can’t quite get this weather right for our visitors!  Due to the rain and very wet conditions, it was decided by the two captains that the Wyong-Toukley Ladies Interclub Trophy event would be run over 9 holes and not 18.  Based on this abbreviated competition….WE WON the Trophy.  Thank you very much Wyong ladies, it was a hard slog.  We had a very optimistic 57 players who started the day, unfortunately only 31 finished the 18 holes.

We are soooooo looking forward to a nice sunny day next week when the second round of our Classic will be held.  Ladies please keep in mind that you play in the division you played your first round in even if that has changed in the meantime.  However, due to the length of time in between games, it was decided at a recent Committee Meeting* that you will be playing off your current handicap.  This applies only to the Ladies who are playing both days.    And also please keep in mind that Division 1 will be playing stroke, the other divisions will be playing Stableford.  The scoreboard, as it was at the completion of the first day will be on display from Monday so if you are confused, please check the board.

*Change to the Toukley Classic Conditions of play

It was decided at recent committee meeting that due to length of time between the 1st and 2nd rounds of the Classic that you will play the 2nd round off your current handicap.

For the two day event you will play in the Division you played in on the 1st day.

For the daily event your current handicap will determine your division.

Note that if you played stroke in division 1 the 1st round, you must play stroke today to qualify for the two day event.

Thank You. Have a nice day.

At a recent match committee meeting it was decided that because of the length of time between the 14/3/2017 the rain cancelled 2nd day and the 27/6/2017 the new date, that the Ladies would play off their current handicap but would play in the divisions they played in on the 13/3/2017.  Ladies Committee, Toukley Ladies Golf”

Anyone seen our gorgeous “Wally” lately?  This photo was taken about 3 weeks ago.

Again thank you to all our visitors and our ladies as well.  Better weather coming, surely!

Yvonne is now taking money for our Christmas trip to the Springs.  You can either pay small amounts weekly/fortnightly or the whole lot near the actual day which is Thursday, 7th December.  $110 will cover your game of golf, cart and lunch and of course the bus trip.
