The 9th is the most difficult hole at Toukley, featuring a sharp dog leg to the right. A well struck fade around the corner or a long high tee shot over the trees will offer a short iron to the green. The other option is a 190 to 200m lay up to the corner, leaving a long to mid iron to the green. There is a steep slope to the left and a deep bunker to the right, so the second shot requires accuracy. The green slopes severely from front to back, so you must stay below the hole to avoid the possibility of a three putt. You can be well satisfied with a par on the 9th!
