Annika Boyd won the Peter O Malley Junior Masters U14/15 Girls Scratch title

at Bathurst Golf Club on the 18th/19th March.

The event was held over 36 Holes at Bathurst Golf Club in gusty conditions. The event is one

of seven masters series events held on the Jack Newton Junior Golf Tour Calendar.

After a solid start in the 1st round the gusty winds played havoc and a quadruple bogey/double bogey

on holes 10 and 12 threatened to derail Annika’s chances. However she managed to play the last 6 holes

in +1 to post a respectable score.

Starting the second day 6 shots behind and 5th overall in the Girls Championship Annika birdied the 9th 10th

and 13th Holes to be 1 under Par after 14 Holes which setup the victory.

The win at the Peter O Malley Junior Masters has booked Annika’s place to compete in the Bonville Champions

Trophy at Bonville Golf Resort in December. An event which sees 32 of the leading Junior Boys/Girls compete

for the green jacket and lifetime membership at Bonville Golf Resort.

Annika’s next tournament is the Australian Girls Amateur Championship to be held at Port Kembla Golf Club from

the 5th -7th April.
